Many want to know who will be playing their favorite characters in the upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie.

Many are focusing on the two key characters, Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, but let's take a look at another important character, Ana's friend Jose Rodriguez.

The "Fifty Shades" trilogy ("Fifty Shades of Grey," "Fifty Shades Darker," "Fifty Shades Freed"), written by bestselling author E.L. James, tells the story of 22-year-old recent college grad Anastasia Steele, who enters into a dominant/submissive sexual relationship with 27-year old sexy billionaire Christian Grey, and both explore Christian's world of BDSM while trying to understand their complicated relationship.

Jose is Ana's good friend from college. Ana insists that she doesn't want more than a friendship even though Jose likes her a lot and wants something more. He is also a popular photographer.

Ana describes him in the book: "He's tall. He's all shoulders and muscles, tanned skin, dark hair and burning dark eyes."

He's also very good-looking, smart, and kind, and in his twenties, around Ana's age.

The way James' sets it up, it reminds "Twilight" readers of Jacob from "The Twilight Saga;" hence, James' based the characters off of Stephanie Meyers' characters in her bestselling "Twilight" books.

Telenova star William Levy is a fan favorite to play Christian Grey, but here at Books & Review we can see him playing Jose. He actually read the book.

According to Extra TV, "Dancing with the Stars" fans went crazy for telenovela star Levy. His shirtless moves last season were the talk of the ladies.

"Extra's" Mario Lopez caught up with the actor/dancer/model at The Grove and found out Levy has already read the book.

"I like the book, actually," he said. "I think all guys should be like that."

Levy, 31, has played in many Spanish TV series, including "Triunfo del amor" and "Mujeres Asesinas." He starred on two episodes on the new VH1 TV series, "Single Ladies," which stars LisaRaye and Travis Winfrey. So basically, he has a lot of acting experience.

Many say he might be too old for the part, but that's what actors do. They always play someone whose age might be way off from theirs.

Levy is featured as Jose on Pinterest "My Fifty Shades of Grey."

Celebuzz has some other hot Spanish actors in mind.

"The first person that comes to mind is Mark Salling, 29," Celebuzz reported. "The Glee star matches Jose's physical description exactly, and he totally has the edgy photographer thing going on. Celebuzz is told Mark's name has been in consideration along with Vampire Diaries star Michael Trevino, 27."

Celebuzz's Top 7 list includes Carlos Pena Jr., Mark Salling, Jay Hernandez, Tyler Blackburn, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Trevino, and Steven Strait.

IBTimes' Top 10 Actors to play Jose included Jesse Metcalfe, Zac Efron, Jay Hernandez, Jesse Williams, Andrew Garfield, Milo Ventimiglia, Chace Crawford, Drew Fuller, Penn Badgley, and Freddie Highmore.

Taylor Lautner might even be considered for the role, since he plays Jacob in the "Twilight" movies.
