The epic finale of "Twilight" is only two months [and some days] away from hitting theaters, and Summit Entertainment wants to keep fans excited.
ReelEmpire revealed that a new trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" will premiere Sept. 8, according to their sources.
The trailer will reportedly feature never-before-seen footage from the upcoming film.
In other news, Entertainment Weekly recently revealed their cover for the "Twilight: The Complete Journey" October issue, which is a special issue dedicated to all things "Twilight" and the complete journey that led fans to the fifth and final film.
It is described by Amazon:
A gorgeous all-access guide to the Twilight saga from the magazine whose writers and photographers covered the phenomenon before anyone else and better than anyone else. "The Twilight Journey" follows author Stephenie Meyer and stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner on their wild, five-year journey from the set of the first movie to the premiere of 2012's "Breaking Dawn, Part 2." With funny, intimate, often shockingly frank interviews as well as set visits, trivia, book and movie guides, and dozens of now-iconic photographs. The is not only a keepsake for fans to pore over but also a revealing portrait of an unassuming first-time author and three very different young actors coping with a fame so sudden and overwhelming that it not only transformed their lives but Hollywood itself. Includes five posters based on original EW covers.
Summit Entertainment has released two new photos, one of the Denali and Amazon covens with Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart), and the other with just Edward.
More news about the epic finale comes from director Bill Condon, where he revealed that the movie will run one hour and 56 minutes, according to MTV News.
When asked which scene from the finale was the most emotional to shoot, Condon replied: "I don't want to talk about one scene because that's a surprise but you know what, the scene when Charlie (Billy Burke) meets vampire Bella for the first time and then meets Renesmee."
He explained: "This is a movie that really only has one fully human person, if you treat Taylor [Lautner] as a magical creature, so Charlie is our way into this whole thing.
"If Charlie can believe it and understand, I think the rest of the audience can too. Of course, Billy Burke is an incredible actor who can really humanise any moment, so watching him and Kristen together in that scene, I remember everything was a total pleasure in that."
It was revealed earlier in August that there is a new twist for the ending.
According to Hollywood Life, the final third of the movie will not be one that's in the book. It will be a brand new sequence.
The website reported that the new sequence was "dreamed up by [author] Stephanie Meyer and longtime screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg one night over dinner" that is much different from the book version.
"When I first read the script, I got to that part and was like, 'What?'" Pattinson told Entertainment Weekly. "And then I had to go back a page."
"It does it a serious justice," said Pattinson.
Kristen Stewart agreed. "It's clearly made by someone who really likes [the saga], who really cares," she said. "That's why [director] Bill Condon is perfect. Thank God for him."
"Breaking Dawn Part 2" is set to release in theaters Nov. 16, 2012.
