The still is from episode 4.01, "Growing Pains." Jeremy (played by Steven R. McQueen) and Bonnie (played by Kat Graham) are fan favorite in "The Vampire Diaries."
Gather Entertainment reported that Julie Plec, the executive producer, has teased that they "are very bonded to each other. In spite of having found a piece of closure in their relationship, they will continue to be drawn to each other emotionally."
A lot of fans also want to know what will happen to Bonnie.
"She's tapped into some darker stuff," Plec said, according to TV Fanatic, referring to the spell Bonnie pulled off to bring Jeremy back to life. "I don't know which way we'll go with her in season four. Do you go down a road even though people did it really well, do you really want to do that? Or do you ignore what other people did and do it because it's right for the character? I'm interested to see where we land on that as writers."
Another spoiler reveals that there would be a major game changer for viewers. It will be a flashback, presented in the fourth episode that will change the lives of everyone.
According to Hollywood Hills, E! Online described the flashback as going way back to the 1100s. "We'll meet a vampire hunter named Alexander who was rugged, handsome and charismatic."
Then TV Line dropped new information about it by way of Executive producer Julie Plec, stating, "a flashback in this season's fourth episode unearths a big secret that will change the course of the season for everybody."
Actor Daniel GIllies, who plays brother Elijah, said that there were many wigs and hair changes while on the set of the flashback scene.
"I've had so many numerous haircuts on this thing. I feel like an accessory sometimes," he joked to MTV. "I feel like the Potato Head-vampire. I think this was my fifth hairstyle? And as we venture further through history, we're only going to find more absurdities upon my crown. The second to last one I had I adored, because I sort of looked somewhere between a Viking and an elf. This last one I looked like a roadie for the Grateful Dead in the 11th century."
"The Vampire Diaries" this season will also focus on Elena's transition as a new vampire, Damon's new/old attitude, and Meredith's journey.
"The Vampire Diaries" season four will air on October 11 on the CW.
