Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed who she is currently dating: singer-songwriter Matthew Koma.
The "Call My Maybe" singer told People magazine that she is enjoying her relationship with Koma, 25.
When asked about her new beau, she coyly said, "He's a really great guy and really talented."
"I love to go on spontaneous dates and do things that we've never tried before or stay at home and make a homemade dinner," Jepsen, 26, said of her bf. "I really like to cook. One of my favorite things to make is homemade sushi. I know how to make the rolls and it's really fun to do."
According to the People, the couple's relationship went public at a GetGlue HD Launch Party in New York City.
"He introduced her as his girlfriend," a source told People magazine. "He seemed really excited about it, and she was smiling from ear to ear by his side during the introduction.
"He seems like a really nice and personable guy."
They were spotted holding hands in the lobby by a party guest. Jepsen later stepped out with Koma for dinner at The Stanton Social, according to a source.
"Many people recognized Carly and she posed for pictures with fans," an onlooker at the Lower East Side eatery said.
Jepsen will release her U.S. album debut, "Kiss," on Sept. 18.
According to Inquisitr, Koma is also in the midst of some musical projects of his own. He laid vocals for Zedd's "Spectrum" and Alesso's "Years," which takes a sample from Florence + the Machine. He shares the same label as LMFAO and Far East Movement.
