Kristen Stewart finally comes out of hiding.

The "Twilight" actress has not been seen since news broke out in July that she was cheating on Robert Pattinson with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.

Recent photographs of Stewart surfaced Monday, Aug. 20. According to PopSugar, she was in L.A. staying low-key in a backward hat. She was wearing a crop top showing her toned abs.

She was also wearing Pattinson's hat, shirt and ring that he gave her, according to Hollywood Life. This could indicate that she still loves him and maybe is showing some courage despite hiding out these past weeks.

"She's not just trying to send a signal to him and fans that she's serious about winning him back, but she's comforting herself by having his things surround her," Hollywood Life wrote.

Stewart, 22, was carrying what looked like asparagus. She was walking to her car. She also carried a McDonald's McCafe and car keys. She also looked down and lonely.

"Of course she is down and lonely," a source told UK magazine Grazia, according to Yahoo Entertainment. "She's terrified of the reaction to her actions. She doesn't feel she should be the only one to suffer for something both her and Rupert had an equal part in. She knows she's made a mistake and she's sorry." 

She bailed out of the "On the Road" premiere in London last week. According to sources, she is still scared to face the public.

"Unlike Rob, who faced the music and threw himself into promoting his new movie 'Cosmopolis,' Kristen isn't comfortable with facing a barrage of questions about the cheating scandal," a source said according to RadarOnline.com.

"Her pals have urged her to follow Robert's lead and do some interviews for 'On The Road' - just to get it over and done with. The sooner she faces the music, the quicker it will all end and the media glare will fall on someone else."

"However, Kristen is scared. The backlash from her 'Twilight' fans has upset her - she's lost and doesn't know what to do," the source said.

On the other side, Sanders wife, Liberty Ross, recently posted a photo on her Vogue UK blog. The pair has been coping privately with the news of Sander's cheating. This is the first time Ross has said anything post scandal.

The post was titled "Liberty." It is a black-and-white photo of an eagle (or vulture) soaring and spreading out its wings, seemingly a statement for freedom and independence, according to E! Online.

Liberty's fans have offered words of encouragement in response to the post, writing things like "You go girl!," "congrats, make your life happier and better," and "Soar High darling. Much Love.XOXO!"

On the day that the photos were revealed of Stewart and Sanders, Ross tweeted "Wow" before deleting her Twitter account.

Two weeks ago, Rupert and Liberty were seen out together for the first time since the cheating scandal, but a source told E! News that "Liberty and Rupert have not decided if they are going to stay together or not." Liberty has also been spotted out without her wedding ring.
