Robert Pattinson got some advice on what he should do about his ex-girlfriend's cheating from Jon Stewart - don't go back!
Pattinson appeared on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" Monday night to talk about his new film "Cosmopolis."
Viewers knew Stewart would at least ask about the situation with Pattinson, but it didn't go in too deep.
The 26-year-old "Twilight" star seemed a little shy and awkward during the interview, but quiet, smiling and laughing when Stewart was giving advice and joking about the situation.
News broke out in July when Stewart was caught cheating on Pattinson with "Snow White and the Huntsmen" director Rupert Sanders.
Pattinson went into hiding after the scandal, and was said to be extremely hurt and in recent news, is now even considering getting back with his Bella.
"What have you been up to?" Stewart asked with a smile, breaking the ice right from the start. Pattinson was clearly awkward.
"God, I thought we already prepared this. I had a joke prepared!"Pattinson insisted. "I was all set up and ready to go."
Stewart brought out Ben & Jerry's ice cream and gave one to Pattinson and insisted that they are "a couple of girls talking."
"Alright, tell me everything," Stewart said. Pattinson instead offered a joke, saying he might get fat with the ice cream.
Stewart then asked the British actor if everything was okay.
Later in the interview, Stewart said that ice cream got him over some bad break ups in the past.
"Listen, the last time I had a bad breakup, Ben and Jerry got me through some of the tougher times," the host shared. "So, I thought you and I could bond over this and talk about, 'Boy, you are better off. Kick her to the curb! Whatever!" The crowd burst out into laughter and so did Pattinson.
Then both talked about Cosmopolis. Pattinson even insisted that his "Twilight" fans buy a lot of tickets so that the movie can be bigger than "The Dark Knight Rises."
Kristen Stewart was reportedly extremely nervous about the "Daily Show" interview, thinking that Jon Stewart would poke fun at the situation, but was confident that Pattinson wouldn't reveal too much since he is a private person, according to RadarOnline.com. The actress should be relieved.
Pattinson has another interview scheduled for a sit-down interview on ABC's "Good Morning America" on Wednesday, Aug.15. The appearance will be a live interview.
