Comic-Con 2012 San Diego is already over, but "Twilight" fans are still frenzied about upcoming movie "Breaking Dawn Part 2."
Those who couldn't make it to the 45th annual event didn't get a chance to see the exclusive 7-minute footage that was shown at the "Twilight panel, which was on Thursday, July 12, at 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. MTV News held a live stream of the panel and interviewed cast members including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.
On February 10, Target showed a sneak peek of the upcoming movie in stores, which was also the release day of the "Breaking Dawn Part 1" DVD. That footage was leaked on youtube. This time, fans were looking for the same thing. They came up disappointed.
Some people that attended the event were able to post 30 seconds to one minute footage of the sneak peek (shown below). In the background, you can hear someone saying that the person is not allowed to film the footage.
According to Comic-Con's website, it said, "Please...absolutely no recording of the video footage or images presented by the studios on the screens."
"In many cases these are exclusive presentations, specifically for you, the Comic-Con attendees. Recording of any of these presentations, by any means, including cameras and camera phones, is a violation of copyright law. Please don't ruin it for everyone! If any of these special presentations appear on the Internet, the studios may stop bringing the footage and exclusive content we all love so much."
At Comic-Con, attendance has grown over the last few years. Because of this, they set guidelines to be strictly followed, according to the website. Die-hard "Twilight" fans wouldn't want to ruin another chance to see exclusive previews again.
The exclusive footage was explained by Total Film, who did a take-by-take of the preview.
There were shots around the room, the walls, and the carpet in extreme close-up; Bella's senses are greatly heightened.
Edward appears at the door, and Bella goes to him. There is a close-up of her massive wedding ring. They touch hands, arms, softly, tenderly; his hand reaches up to her face and cups her chin.
"You're so beautiful," he whispers.
She sees herself in a full-length mirror, she's wearing a blue dress, colors are saturated, and then she smiles.
She holds Edward close and - bang! She gives him a super-strength squeeze.
"It's your turn not to break me!" he says.
The footage goes on to show Bella's first hunt as a vampire. Then she sees Jacob for the first time since the transformation.
It's an affectionate and accepting reunion. She smells him.
"You really do stink!" She says. But now she wants to see her daughter Renesmee. Then the footage ends.
Also revealed at Comic-Con was new character photos for the Cullen clan, Carlisle (Peter Facinelli), Esme (Elizabeth Reaser), Alice (Ashley Greene), Rosalie (Nikki Reed), Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) and Emmett (Kellan Lutz), as well as members of other covens, who came to protect Edward and Bella's daughter, Renesmee, from the Volturi, all explained in the novel, writtin by Stephanie Meyer, the author of the "Twilight Saga." The pictures can be seen here.
