'Buxom Bandit' Alleged Getaway Driver Gets Out on Bail (Video)

The alleged getaway driver for the "Buxom Bandit" got out on bail with a $10,000 surety, according to the Herald Sun.

Alexander Spinks, 22, is conjointly charged with Tonee Walker, also 22, for the armed robbery at a service station on July 2 in the Gold Coast city of Queensland, Australia.

Police alleged that Spinks drove Walker and three friends to Freedom Fuels. Walker allegedly used a flick knife to rob the console operation out of $300.

Spinks was granted bail in the Southport Magistrates Court with the $10,000 posted by his father.

Magistrate Terry Duroux also banned him from having any contact with Walker and any other co-offenders and ordered him to live in Tasmania with his father and obey a 9pm to 6am curfew.

Spinks, who is also facing separate charges of drug possession and arson, will return to court on September 20.

Walker gained international attention after a surveillance camera video went viral showing her trying to hold up the gas station, according to CBS News. The video shows Walker wearing a knit cap with her face exposed, along with a low-cut top exposing her cleavage.

Police reportedly went on the lookout for the buxom bandit since the attempted robbery on July 2. She was charged with robbery and theft after turning herself into Queensland's Southport Magistrates' Court, and appeared in court on Friday.

According to the Herald Sun, despite being sought by police in relation to the robbery, Walker entered Southport Magistrates Court with her lawyer Chris Rosser Friday afternoon in relation to a separate shoplifting charge on which she had failed to appear.

She walked in and out of the court without an officer even noticing that she was the one and only "Buxom Bandit."

Walker's lawyer said she was "very surprised" by the international interest in her case.

Walker walked into the Runway Bay police station with her lawyer on Friday night, turning herself in. She is now in police custody without bail until her next court appearance on August 20, according to CBS News. She is being charged with one count each of armed robbery and stealing, according to the Herald Sun.
