Just like how Potterheads often re-read or make a motto to live by out of their favorite chapter from the "Harry Potter" saga, JK Rowling has hers too and the author finally reveals what part of her bestselling books she was enthralled writing and reading about.
Rowling revealed during her usual Twitter spree that her favorite part of the entire series comes from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" and it turns out to be chapter 34 called "The Forest Again" from the seventh and last book.
As per EW, this part of the book sees Harry realizing what to do to ultimately defeat Voldemort. The wizard heads to the Forbidden Forest where he faces up to his greatest enemy. The chapter also follows Harry finally being able to open the Golden Snitch, which held moving surprises for the hero.
As he makes his way to his ultimate standoff with the Dark Lord, he gets to see visions of his late loved ones including his darling parents Lily and James Potter. As per Mary Sue, the tear-jerking "Harry Potter" chapter did more than just make the writer bawl her eyes out.
Agreeing to a fan about how heart-rending and special this "Harry Potter" chapter was, Rowling also revealed another big reason why the chapter topped her list. "It was the culmination of 17 years' work and the most cathartic piece of writing of my life," she tweeted.
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" closes up the mega popular and timeless saga, which ultimately put Rowling in the literary map. The book was released back in 2007 and had 37 chapters including the epilogue, which showed what becomes of Harry, Hermione and Ron 19 years into the future.
Apart from the website Pottermore, Rowling's Twitter has become a vast source of trivia and additional info for fans of the boy who lived. Her recent revelation was Sirius Black's birthday on Nov. 3, which is just weeks away. This year, Harry's beloved and heroic uncle will be 56.
Over the past months, Rowling has been serving up details Potterheads do not know about the sprawling universe in Hogwarts. She revealed why the Dursleys detest Harry, the house Harry's son will be in and a whole lot more.
Although the last "Harry Potter" book has been published and the movie released, fans still find a way to return to Hogwarts with a 2016 stage play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" and the upcoming spinoff "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" starring Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne.
