Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani celebrates his 40 years in re-shaping fashion and style with a no holds barred type of autobiography, which will take readers behind the scenes of the legend that influenced and contoured the world of style.

According to In Style, Armani already celebrated his time in the fashion industry with star-studded bash and a new gallery in Milan. But this time, he immortalizes everything with a memoir that's filled with photos and texts put together to allow fans to relive the years before, during and after Armani's eponymous label became one of the most successful, most important and most popular.

Simply titled "Giorgio Armani," the book covers the designer's life in and out of the limelight. It also features Armani as a dreamer, with tales from his childhood that will give readers the opportunity to know what young Armani was like before being known for his creating menswear that will enjoy timeless range.

"Giorgio Armani" will feature all these images and stories across all its 576 pages, as per NY Mag. One of the most special parts of the book is its cover, which shows a photo of the designer as a baby. The book also shows the most notable people with Armani in the 40 years he was in the fashion domain.

Even the fashion designer's book is also star-studded, with photographs of well-known fashion photographers included in it too. These include Deborah Turbeville, Herb Ritts, Peter Lindbergh and Craig McDean.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Armani stated that he will never stop contributing to the fashion world he loved and lived. And he kept his word with "Giorgio Armani" published and ready for pre-order.

"While I am alive, there will be independence. Soon after, perhaps I will have prepared the ground for a type of independence that is more measured, more controlled," the 81-year-old, who was born in Piacenza, Italy said.

He also added that the company aims and remains to be independent, defining freedom as "Being able to choose the light that you like in an office as much as designing an unruly or highly elegant collection."

According to Biography.com, Armani did not always have his eye on design. He loved the anatomy of a human ever and wanted to know more about it since he was a child. Before he became the Giorgio Armani he is today, he was a medical student at the University of Piacenza as well.
