There is a lot of things going on in Westeros and there certainly are tons of characters that come and go. This may be a problem to some fans and HBO recognizes that. That is why the network is releasing a new detailed guide book to the rating juggernaut of a TV series "Game of Thrones," Comicbook.com reports.
Titled "Game of Thrones: The Noble Houses of Westeros," the upcoming book takes readers through a tour of the major Houses known in the epic. Fans will get to know details about every House's sigil, history, home, family tree, character profiles, weapons, costumes and more."
The guide book has 128 pages of illustrated goodness and in between the info on the Houses is photography from the first season down to the latest one. Those who want to get to know more about the various clans should grab one. But HBO touts it is also "a must-have for the millions of collectors of all things GOT."
"Game of Thrones: The Noble Houses of Westeros" will be available on Dec 1 with Running Press handling the publishing. It is priced at $16. Interested fans can purchase theirs when it releases from Amazon, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Google, IndieBound, Kobo and Powell's Books.
Barnes & Noble is open for pre-order and is offering a 17 percent discount on the guide book. While on it, fans can also get "The Game of Thrones: Collectible Longclaw Sword Kit," which would score them a small replica of Jon Snow's sword, Longclaw complete with a sheath sleeve and a stand as well as a 48-page book with full-color series photography.
In other related news, new spoiler-tactic news about "Game of Thrones" season 6 has surfaced. Watchers on the Wall got its hands on a casting breakdown that revealed HBO's search for an individual who play the role of a tough violent-tempered rugged pirate in his 30's.
The network wants "a tall and rugged actor" to fill in the role, one that can stand up and have everyone listen to what he has to say as the character has to do a lot of "forceful dialogue in one scene" that he will share with the major cast members.
The publication speculates that this character will be in the Kingsmoot or something similar. The leading characters in this scene will be Yara and Euron Greyjoy. The tipster also mentioned that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who played Jaime Lannister in the series, could be involved in some way, shape or form in "Game of Thrones" season 6.
