'GTA 6' Trailer & Release Date: Rockstar Pressured in Developing PS4 Xbox One Sequel? [Rumors]

"GTA 5" is still widely regarded as the best open world action-adventure video game in recent memory, which is why gamers can't help but look ahead to the time that developer Rockstar will release the persistently rumored sequel to the title dubbed by the internet as "GTA 6."

According to The Bitbag, speculations agree that the game won't see the light of day in about two and a half years' time. That gives us a release date some time in 2018. But the grueling interval will allow the game studio to outstrip its latest entry and pack in it all the gamers' dreamed-of crime jaunts.

It may be safe to say that beauty takes time, and so applies to "GTA 6." The Bitbag added that it is no easy feat to surpass the incredible amount of success "GTA 5" has garnered. Knowing that Rockstar netted $1 billion on the third day the game went on sale, the pressure is on to make the new iteration so much better.

With stellar features, action-packed missions and an all-inclusive unadulterated entertainment brought about by "GTA 5," just how Rockstar can outdo itself? The answer, as some would predict, lies in the characters that man the next world of "GTA 6."

According to Yibada, actress Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling will be tapped to voice the game's lead characters. The site reports that the latter's counterpart in the crime-laden Los Santos will be based on his title role in the 2011 crime drama "Drive."

Master Herald is convinced that the actor's inclusion will contribute to the overall success of the game. Also, the site claims he would make a good felon, judging by his astral performance in the aforementioned film. Who knows? It's either he lends his voice or his appearance to the character.

Meanwhile, there's not much info on the partaking of Mendes, who is being poised as the female lead for the game. Although it is important to note that even before her name was dragged, rumors were rife about "GTA 6" having a tough lady at the forefront for the first time in the history of the franchise.

The last time Rockstar spoke about "GTA 6," president Leslie Benzies expressed, "We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do. We don't know what 'GTA 6′ will be, but we've got some ideas."

That's about it -- they've got "some" ideas. We could only wonder what these ideas could be.

As told in the grapevine, "GTA 6" is also expected to boast the richest, largest and most detailed world in the series.
