Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is one of rumor mills' hottest, most talked about flagships of the future. Leaks and speculations that attempt to paint a picture of the phablet are all over the world, but a brand new report ultimately illustrates the power of the device.
According to a "reliable insider" of Samsung tipster Sammobile, the newest Note in the array will be harboring 4GB of LP-DDR4 RAM. Business Insider writes that such amount should grant the Galaxy Note 5 supreme power.
To give users an idea, the site noted that even some computers come with the same amount of internal memory, and those are big machines designed for tedious, protracted tasks. For a smartphone to have it means superiority. Its predecessor had 3GB and it ran smoothly.
According to GSM Arena, the Galaxy Note 5's purported RAM power will be matched with an octa-core 64-bit Exynos 7422 processor, an upgrade to the S6's 7420 chipset that is touted to be the company's first true single-chip solution. A Shannon 333 LTE modem will also be integrated.
As far as other specs go, Yahoo News says that the phablet is said to come in a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display. It is also expected to come in the new Type C-USB reversible connector, which is deemed the future of ports. The device might also be packing a 4,100mAh battery when it releases.
As previously reported by Books N Review, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is rumored to look like the South Korea-based company's current flagship, the Galaxy S6, which is lauded for its sleek, classy metal and glass design. There will likely be a 32GB version of the device, but other storage options should be available too. Android 5.1 Lollipop will likely be onboard.
Meanwhile, just as Galaxy S6 has it dual edge kin, the phablet is rumored to get one too. In a separate report by GSM Arena, the site claimed that Samsung might release what it called the Galaxy Note 5 Edge.
This rumor was initiated when the tech firm's FAQ page about its current flagships' issues on camera had two unfamiliar model numbers, n925 and n920f, which GSM Arena believes to be of the Note 5 and its Edge flavor. This page in question also revealed that the upcoming pair of Note smartphones will sport a 5MP front camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Note 5 Edge is also touted to get a thinner glass back. The camera on its rear is expected to be a 16MP shooter with Optical Image Stabilization and 2160p video recording.
