As Books N Review previously reported, the highly anticipated "Harry Potter" spinoff, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," is slowly gaining muscle with "Transparent" star Alison Sudol hailed as the newest member of the Eddie Redmayne-led cast.

But even though it seems that the central troupe is slowly taking shape, Warner Bros. is still actively hunting for a new cast member. According to Variety, the company is in search of a young actress aged 8 to 12 who will essay the role of a character named Modesty.

The studio describes the character as quoted by Variety as a "haunted young girl with an inner strength and stillness." In addition, Modesty has "an ability to see deep into people and understand them." It remains to be seen how the character will be linked to Newt Scamander.

According to Radio Times, the casting call for the new "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" star will be held at the Excel Centre Hall, Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway in London on Saturday, July 18. The site adds that the unsurprisingly long queue will be open at 9:00 am and closes at 1:00 pm.

The application process will officially start at 10:00 am. Aspirants can check out the guidelines and requirements in the Warner Bros UK site. The winning candidate will have to be available to film when production starts in August and when it wraps up in January.

The hopeful young actress to emerge on top will get to star with Redmayne as Newt Scamander, who embarks on his first journey in New York in the hopes of discovering and identifying mystical creatures and mystic beasts.

Other cast members making up "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," as Empire Online reports, include Katherine Waterston as Porpentina and Alison Sudol as Queenie. Dan Folger ended up being cast as Jacob, Newt's nemesis while Variety writes that Ezra Miller has snagged the role of Kredan.

 "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is set 70 years before Harry Potter's own crazy adventures. Notably, the movie is based off the fictional Hogwarts book that appeared in the "Harry Potter" films.

Quoting author JK Rowling, who will be writing the screenplay for the film, BBC reports that the film "is neither a prequel nor a sequel" but an "extension of the wizarding world."

David Yates will direct the spinoff, which poofs into the theaters on November 18, 2016.
