"Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" is easily the most talked about franchise refresher there is. This makes it the favorite to be leaked too. Ever since the movie was confirmed, fans have been treated with two trailers, but rumor has it that there's a third one on the way.
A Reddit user recently shared an incredibly detailed outline of the alleged teaser. The description restates that it happens in an arctic setting and claims that some footages from the previous trailers were used again in selected scenes.
The key moments in the alleged trailer, as enumerated by Dork Side of the Dark Force are Rey, Finn, Han and Chewbacca's attempt to break into the First Order base of an unknown planet, Phasma's adamant convincing of Finn, and, most importantly, Luke Skywalker's disappearance, which is the foundation of the movie.
The site says that the description makes for an excellent trailer, with leaks and spoilers from sites like Making Star Wars nicely manifested in it. There might be a chance that this is the very trailer for "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" waiting to be unveiled.
However, Furious Fan Boys refuse to believe that this leaked description is legitimate. When the leakster was asked what Luke was doing in the trailer, the leakster replied that he was in a snowy place as well. The site argues that when the cast and crew filmed in Skellig Michael, there was no hint of snow.
Of course, the site acknowledges that they could be wrong, debating that CGI snow may have been added to the location, but as far as the weather conditions during the shooting are concerned, it was a sunny day and the weather was nice.
This trailer, should it even exist, is hoped to be debuted during the San Diego Comic-Con, which is, sad to say, not going to happen. Entertainment Weekly confirmed that there won't be new footages to gawk at in the convention, although there will be a special "behind the scenes" look.
Screen Rant acknowledges that the occasion is perfect to release a preview as the event will be choc-kfull of fans and all eyes will be on the affair. Also, the fact that "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" will be out in five months' time made fans expect a trailer will show up.
Entertainment Weekly says fans will have to wait until around fall before a new trailer for the JJ Abrams-helmed epic emerges. This means that the preview will come mere weeks before "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" hits the theaters on December 18.
