Everything has been going well for Rob Gronkowski, aside from having a great season during the 2014 NFL season. The New England Patriot's tight end has also been rumored to be dating someone new as well.

However, for Lacey Noonan, author of "A Gronking to Remember", things just got more memorable for a different reason.

A couple from Ohio has surfaced recently, claiming that Noonan used their personal photograph on the cover of her erotic fan fiction without obtaining proper permission from them, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In the complaint filed by the couple, the photo on the book's cover "was taken as part of their engagement journey leading toward their wedding." 

As if adding insult to injury, the plaintiff's lawyer stated that the couple finds the book "less than tasteful and offensive". Because of the book's subject, the couple said that they have been subjected to "ridicule and embarrassment" and they do not want to be part of the attention surrounding the book.

It is unclear as to why Noonan used the photograph of the couple. Though the couple have uploaded the said photograph on the Internet  themselves, they reiterate that they did not give Noonan the permission to use it, saying that they "did not place the photograph on the internet for expropriation."

Aside from Lacey Noonan, which is a pen name used by the author, Amazon, Apple, and Barnes and Noble, are also implicated in the complaint. However, Amazon claimed that it is not the book's official publisher, and "had no knowledge that the cover image was created without the plaintiff's consent."

"A Gronking to Remember" is a self-published novel by Lacey Noonan, and is set to be part of a series featuring the three-time Pro Bowler. The erotic novel follows the story a lonely housewife from New England and her sexual awakening brought upon by Gronkowski.

The 68-page novella was electronically released in January, and has stirred curiosity among Patriot fans and erotic novels fans alike. In February, Gronkowski appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" wherein he read a passage from the novel for kicks. The book has also been the source of humor on "The Tonight Show", as well as during the press conference for media for Super Bowl.

Lacey Noonan has yet to comment regarding the lawsuit, or whether the series will continue.

Incidentally, Rob Gronkowski  is reportedly having a romance of his own. Despite his statement back in February that he does not have a girlfriend, Inquisitr says that the 25-year old football star is currently dating Camille Kostek, a former Patriot cheerleader who currently works with ESPN as a sports reporter.
