Kim Kardashian, socialite and star of E!'s "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," flaunted her sculpted abs and curvaceous body while posing in front of a wall of plants on her Instagram account as her own way of honoring Earth Day.

"In honor of Earth Day here is my best plant selfie from my new book #Selfish coming out May 5th! #ivegotaselfieforeveryoccasion," Kardashian included in the selfie's accompanying caption. As of present, the post has already garnered 895,000 likes among the star's 30.5 million followers.

The selfie, posted on Apr. 23, is stated to be part of Kardashian's coffee table book, "Kim Kardashian West: Selfish." The book features selfies of Kardashian at various stages of her life, from growing up into the limelight, becoming friends with Hollywood A-listers, and eventually having a family of her own.

"Selfish" is said to contain never-before-seen photographs of the famous Kardashian, among the many published selfies on her social media accounts. The book is also said to contain many other insider secrets. 

According to a statement published by the publisher of Kardashian's book, Rizzoli, the 352-page book will not only feature Kardashian's favorite selfies, but also old photographs of the social media star.

The book was announced by Kardashian only last year. It was originally reported to be released this Apr. 28, but was pushed to a May 5 release. Last Jan. 21, Kardashian shared through her Instagram account the cover of the book.

Vogue also published seven exclusive photographs that are said to be part of "Selfish" on its site.

Kardashian, who is wife to billionaire rapper Kanye West and mother to their year-old daughter North, originally intended the book to be a Valentine's Day gift to her husband. But the star decided to turn it into a full-blown book. "It ended up turning out so cool that we came up with this idea to do a book, a selfie book," the star mentioned on-air in an episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

Fans who would like to know more about what is inside the book can tune in on "The Today Show," where Kardashian is scheduled to appear next week. In her exclusive interview with Matt Lauer, she will give fans updates on the book, as well as the latest news on her family and marriage.

The Kardashian and Jenner clan have been in the middle of Hollywood buzz lately because of Bruce Jenner's apparent physical changes and his involvement in a road mishap.

With the upcoming release of Kardashian's book, she does not only intend to break the Internet, she might as well break the bookshelves, too. Fans can get a hold of "Kim Kardashian West: Selfish" as soon as it hit stores by May 5.
