Barnes & Noble, together with Microsoft announced a limited time free eBook and magazine offer through the NOOK App for Windows 8.1, Tuesday, Dec.10. This new deal enables customers who download the app to receive five free popular books and five free top magazines.

Barnes & Noble recently announced that the NOOK App for Windows 8.1 is available to Windows 8.1 PC and tablet customers in 32 countries and in 12 languages through the Windows Store. The free app combines NOOK's reading experience with shopping directly from the app, so customers around the globe can discover, explore and read a growing and diverse selection of books, magazines, newspapers and comics from any Windows 8.1 tablet or PC.
