Hachette Book Group announced Wednesday that it will be publishing "Jeremy Lin: The Reason for Linsanity" by Timothy Dalrymple and release this May.

The book will look back to the new NBA sensation's life in high school, college, early years in the NBA, and his sudden surge to become the starting guard of the New York Knicks.

Graduated from Harvard and an American-born from Taiwanese descent, Jeremy Lin went undrafted and was cut by two teams in two years before landing in New York.  His emergence at basketball's biggest stage has made him a phenomenon in the media.
