EL James' Next Novel won't be as Raunchy as 'Fifty Shades of Grey'

E.L. James announced at the Vanity Fair Oscar party that her next novel will not be as raunchy as "Fifty Shades of Grey", and that she may write it under another name.

Fans of the famous erotic author E.L. James will be disappointed if they were expecting more erotic scenes in the author's next novel. During an interview at the Vanity Fair Oscar party this year, James told a reporter that her next novel will be a whole lot less raunchy and she's even considering writing it under a different name.

"Fifty Shades of Grey", which was the first book in James' trilogy, sold over 10 million copies in the U.K. alone and over 30 million copies in the U.S. The novel was also voted "Book of The Year" by the public at the National Book Awards last December.

According to a report by The Guardian, earlier James had told her readers in an interview that she already had a few more love stories planned and was excited to present them to her readers soon. However, she also clarified that she had no plans to write another book on the hyper-sexed characters of "Fifty Shades of Grey" - Christian Grey and Anastasia Steel.

"Never say never - but they're on the back burner at the moment, as I have a few other stories to tell first," she wrote on her website.
