Lara Trump and Kevin Sorbo are working together to teach traditional values to children. They are both authors of new children's books published by Brave Books, a company based in Texas.

Promoting Hard Work and Determination

Lara, the daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump and currently the co-chair of the Republican National Committee, authored "The Never-Give Up Pup." This children's book introduces the topics of perseverance and the American Dream.

Lara said people today do not work hard because they can get what they need easily. She says her book was inspired by not making her high school cheerleading team. With her father's help, she worked hard for a year and made the team the following year.

Lara described a significant moment from her past when she learned that hard work pays off, which left a lasting impression on her. She considered the release of her book as divinely timed, especially given her connection to former President Donald Trump, who embodies the principle of never giving up. She noted the book's alignment with her father-in-law's character and journey.

Lara emphasized the importance of hard work and perseverance in imparting to kids the satisfaction that comes from accomplishing their objectives. She believed this was the ideal opportunity to teach the future generation these principles.

Defending Fatherhood and Masculinity

Sorbo, famous for his role as Hercules in a 1990s TV series, wrote "The Bear Essentials of Fatherhood." His book highlights the importance of male role models and fatherhood.

Sorbo aimed to promote masculinity and the importance of fatherhood to families who value God and America. He expressed concern about current cultural trends, mentioning men dressing in women's clothing and reading inappropriate books to children.

Sorbo will introduce his new book at a story hour in Miami this weekend. The book, set to release in June, features a character, Culture the Vulture, who tries to persuade Mobi the Bear to live selfishly. This highlights the crucial role of fathers.

The event will be held at Northeast Dade-Aventura Library Auditorium on May 18 at 2 p.m.; it is free and open to the public. Sorbo hopes families will join for prayer, patriotic tradition, and a reading of his book.

Promoting Traditional Values Through Children's Literature

Trump's and Sorbo's books are published by Brave Books, a company that has been active in the cultural debate since its founding in 2021. Brave Books partners with influential individuals to create monthly children's books that teach traditional biblical and American values.

Kirk Cameron, a Christian actor, author, and producer, is one of the most well-known authors associated with Brave Books. Cameron and the publisher claimed that public schools and libraries have been resistant to traditional values while allowing events that include sexualized content for children.

Cameron, known for his children's storytime reading hours in public libraries, spoke out against LGBTQ and 'woke' agendas targeting kids. He aimed to reclaim cultural spaces and provide trustworthy entertainment that teaches biblically based moral values.

Cameron emphasized that Christian parents struggle to find quality content that reflects their values and engages modern children. He planned to stay independent from major studios to maintain core values inspired by the success of "The Chosen," which was community-funded.

Cameron, known for his role in the TV show "Growing Pains," believed that Lara and Sorbo symbolize a renewal of faith and freedom in the United States. He feels a spiritual revival is happening in libraries, schools, churches, and homes nationwide.
