The festive season brings various celebrations, one of which is Stuff Your Kindle Day, which kicks off on Dec 27. Stuff Your Kindle Day is an author-organized event allowing readers to access free romance eBooks. These free books can also be kept. The brain behind the day, romance author Zoe York, chose such a name because it is about loading up on fabulous reads.
The event began in 2014 when York wanted to share her books and others on her website, Romance Bookworms. Over time, it has become much bigger. Now, you can pick from more than 2,000 titles with different types of stories. As the name suggests, you can read them on various e-readers, not just on Kindle.
Stuff Your Kindle Day is an event for everyone. Readers do not need a Kindle device to participate; Kobo and Nook readers can join the party, too. The free titles can also be found on Google Play or Apple Books, and Readers who do not own e-readers can still get the books on their phones.
To participate, readers must have an Amazon account and download the Kindle app to be granted access to the e-books. Readers can also head to Zoe York's Page to find the list of free books categorized by genre and e-reader. Some categories are young adult, historical romance, and romantic suspense.
Amazon has set up a special Stuff Your Kindle Day page to help readers like you discover titles easily. Head over to Amazon to find highlighted titles neatly organized by genre. Readers can also check out the official list on Romance Bookworms' blog for a detailed breakdown by retailer and romance sub-genres, including categories like enemies to lovers trope.
Despite the abundance of romance novels on the list, some non-romance and non-fiction titles are also up for grabs. Non-romance eBooks include 'Magical Miri' by Debra Kristi and 'The Power of the Subconscious Mind' by Joseph Murphy.

Amazon Kindle Unlimited requires readers to pay monthly fees to borrow books. Stuff Your Kindle Day, on the other hand, lets readers keep the books forever, and there are no limits on what books can be accessed during the day. However, readers with Kindle Unlimited can still join Stuff Your Kindle Day without using up the 20-book limit.
While many e-books on the website are free, there are also numerous discounted ones. You must double-check before clicking the purchase button. All Stuff Your Kindle Day titles are free. E-readers like Kobo Elipsa Pack, Nook Glowlight 4e, and Kindle Scribe are also significantly discounted this week.
Get ready to embark on a literary adventure without spending a dime. Happy reading!
