Fifty Shades Of Grey To Be Published In Hardcover

E.L James erotic novel "Fifty Shades Of Grey" will now be published in hardcover by Doubleday publishers and will be released just before Valentine's Day.

E.L James novel "Fifty Shades Of Grey" seems to have come full circle. First the novel was announced to have a movie adaptation coming up soon and now Doubleday publishers have decided in publishing the book in hardcover.

January 29 the publishing house will release 200,000 copies of the erotic trilogy - Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed in hardcover priced at $26.95 each.

"As interest in the Fifty Shades trilogy has grown, readers have been asking for hardcover editions of the books," says James' publisher Anne Messitte in an e-mail. "These new hardcovers include unique production elements, making them the ultimate collector's editions for readers of the trilogy."

As for the movie, when a novel as erotic as "Fifty Shades of Grey" is being made into a movie, screenwriters usually do away with the dirtiest sex parts of the novel. However, much to the delight of fans, Screenwriter Kelly Marcel has no intentions of doing so.

Marcel confirms that she's going to keep every bit of the novel alive in the movie adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey."

"This isn't going to be Twilight. It's going to be raunchy ... We are 100 percent going there, "Marcel tells UK's Sunday Times.

Also, for all those romantic fans out there, there's good news for them as well. Along with be "raunchy" Marcel guarantees that the movie is going to have many romantic moments as well.

"Regardless of what you may think of the writing, this is a modern love story, involving two complex characters, and that's what I'm interested in. I don't care what anybody says, there is something about Christian that is old-fashioned and romantic," Marcel says.
