Donald Trump says he will unveil something big about President Obama, which may be about a secret divorce. However, some are not sold.
"I have something very, very big concerning the president of the United States," Trump told "Fox & Friends" on Monday during a phone interview, according to Yahoo. "I will be announcing it sometime probably Wednesday and it's going to be very big."
Trump also went on to say that it could possibly change the election and that it's going to be "very big, bigger than anybody would know." He said that he will likely speak on Twitter at noon.
Douglas Kass, an investor who appears on CNBC's talkshow "Squawkbox," predicted that Trump unearthed divorce papers between Obama and his wife, Michelle, according to Daily Mail.
However "big" the announcement is, some are not impressed with Trump. He made falst allegations in the past about Obama's birth, saying that he believed Obama was born in Kenya rather than Hawaii.
Politico.com listed what some media people are saying.
"I have no expectations when it comes to Mr. Trump... we'll see what he's got." - ABC's Rick Klein
"If a blowhard moron spouts bile about a president and EVERYONE ignores it, does he make a sound? #trump" - Times of London's Matt Spence (Washington bureau)
"Notice how Trump keeps calling it an "announcement" and not "revelation." That's why I think he's just offering money for transcripts." - The Daily Caller's Alex Pappas
"I don't want to be too judgmental, but Donald Trump couldn't be dumber if you cut his head off." - POLITICO's Roger Simon
"Why is it that Donald Trump can troll the media so easily?" - Progressive Now editor Matthew Rothschild
"I recommend that you lower your expectations. @realDonaldTrump is a clown & not a friend of conservatism." - Michelle Malkin
Commenters went along the same lines, thinking that Trump won't say anything worth listening to.
One commenter said, "And the point of his big" statement? PLEASE get this publicity obsessed man out of the press! He is like an addict to having his face/name in the press. Pathetic that this is what he thinks is an important contribution. I have way too much going on in my life...I care about jobs, not divorce rumors from some media-hog comb-over."
Another said, "Will someone please put the Donald back in the nuthouse where he belongs? I swear hes worse than old gossipers around a farm gate. Quit being nosy and a brownnoser already. GO AWAY." One more said, "If he, or anyone else, had anything on Obama that was SERIOUS and TRUE, they would have told it right away. Why this ridiculous several days delay for some big "announcement"? Waiting for a forger to create false documents? Or does Trump just want more traffic on his twitter and facebook? Now, I'm not likely to believe anything the clown says."
Some commenters said it didn't matter if there were divorce papers. One said, "Don't see what this has to do with anything. All couples argue and a stable future is what Mrs Obama wanted for her family. Politics does not offer one." Another said, "Seriously Trump...is that the best you've got? For real? Even if this is true, SO WHAT? The fact that they are standing firm together after so many years just makes me love them even more."
The comments just go on and on, bashing Trump for his decision to unleash "big" news.
Trump's announcement is to air on Twitter at 12 noon Wednesday, if you care to know.
