'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Movie Cast: Jennifer Lawrence Dishes on Sam Claflin on Set, Mockingjay Screenwriter Revealed

New details emerged about "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."

Jennifer Lawrence, who plays the lead role of Katniss Everdeen in all "Hunger Games" movies, recently dished on her new co-star, British "Snow White and the Huntsman" actor Sam Claflin.

"He's wonderful. He's really sweet, a great, wonderful actor. He's got a great American accent," Lawrence told MTV News.

Claflin was cast as the highly sought Finnick Odair.

Recent pictures revealed Claflin on set, and shirtless.

Us magazine revealed a photo of Claflin as Finnick on set Sept. 13. The website described:

The English actor, 26, silenced those critics when he was photographed in costume on set in Atlanta, Georgia, September 13. A shirtless Claflin -- who most recently starred opposite Kristen Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman -- looked more muscular than ever, revealing his tight abs and bulging biceps in between takes.

Filming for "Catching Fire," is currently taking place in Clayton County, Ga.

According to DailyBlam.com, the first batch of photos taken on the set show Donald Sutherland as President Snow. [SEE PHOTOS HERE]

Sutherland is wearing a black suit draped with grey fur, and black gloves, looking stern as President Snow always does.

According to the Examiner, "it appears the scene being filmed in these photos is when President Snow selects the exact twist that will be employed for the third annual Quarter Quell. [SPOILER ALERT] In 'Catching Fire,' this is when he announces that the Tributes will only be reaped from past Hunger Games victors."

Other photos recently popped up from on set.

According to OnLocationVacations, the stage for the Reaping was revealed.

"The set is being built at The Goat Farm Arts Center in Atlanta but according to Jeff the exact filming date for at the Goat Farm shoot has not yet been determined," the website reported.

According to the Examiner, crews are expected to film a pivotal scene in "Catching Fire" this week, which is a lavish party held in the Capitol for all the returning victors.

According to The Hob, filming will take place at the Swan House, which is Atlanta's most recognized landmarks, September 26-28th -- and will include elaborate, custom-made costumes, "including a suit made out of bricks."

Some photos have already been seen of crews at work on the site, building additional set pieces. A fan even created an artistic rendering of the party scene featuring the Swan House, reported the Examiner.

In other "Hunger Games" news, "Game Change" Emmy Award winning writer Danny Strong has been picked to write the screenplay for "Mockingjay," the last film adaption of Suzanne Collins' bestselling trilogy, according to SlashFlim.

Lionsgate announced that it started principal photography for the second "Hunger Games" movie on Sept. 10 in Atlanta, Georgia. Then, the film will subsequently be shot on location in the beaches and jungles of Hawaii before wrapping in late December, 2012.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is described:

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark.   Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts.  Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.
