Many want to know who will be playing their favorite characters in the upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie.

Many are focusing on the two key characters, Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, but let's take a look at another important character, Ana's friend Jose Rodriguez.

The "Fifty Shades" trilogy ("Fifty Shades of Grey," "Fifty Shades Darker," "Fifty Shades Freed"), written by bestselling author E.L. James, tells the story of 22-year-old recent college grad Anastasia Steele, who enters into a dominant/submissive sexual relationship with 27-year old sexy billionaire Christian Grey, and both explore Christian's world of BDSM while trying to understand their complicated relationship.

Jose is Ana's good friend from college. Ana insists that she doesn't want more than a friendship even though Jose likes her a lot and wants something more. He is also a popular photographer.

Ana describes him in the book: "He's tall. He's all shoulders and muscles, tanned skin, dark hair and burning dark eyes."

He's also very good-looking, smart, and kind, and in his twenties, around Ana's age.

The way James' sets it up, it reminds "Twilight" readers of Jacob from "The Twilight Saga;" hence, James' based the characters off of Stephanie Meyers' characters in her bestselling "Twilight" books.

So who should play the role no other than "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob in the "Twilight" movies.

Jose is similar to Jacob. First off, both names start with a "J." Also, both characters play the "other guy." In "Twilight," Jacob was always fighting to Bella's (played by Kristen Stewart) love. He thought he was better for Bella because he actually was part human and not cold and a vampire like Edward (played by Robert Pattinson). However, just like Ana to Jose, Bella did not want Jacob. She always chose Edward, and stuck with him until the end.

Other similarities are that Lautner is extremely good-looking just like Jose is described. He is also tall, muscular, tanned skin, and has dark hair. He could have "burning eyes."

He is also 20-years-old, around the same age as Jose, and could definitely pull off the look.

Another possibility for Jose is Telenova star William Levy. The Spanish actor is actually a fan favorite for Christian Grey, but he would do good as Jose as well. He might be a little too old for the part, but filmmakers could make him look younger anyway.

According to Extra TV, "Dancing with the Stars" fans went crazy for Levy. His shirtless moves last season were the talk of the ladies.

"Extra's" Mario Lopez caught up with the actor/dancer/model at The Grove and found out Levy has already read the book.

"I like the book, actually," he said. "I think all guys should be like that."
