Everyone all over the world is reading E.L. James' erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey," even celebrities.
Inspired by "Twilight" fan fiction, the novel is features BDSM-based scenes, and a love story similar to that of Twilight's Bella and Edward. So, of course, actors who played those roles would be curious to read the book.
Kristen Stewart has finally admitted she read the book, according to Hollywood Life.
"I'm reading it man," Steward said in an interview with Moviefix in Australia.
According to Complex, there are ten pictures of celebrities who are caught reading the book, including Selena Gomez, Eva Longoria, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell, "Mob Wives" Drita D'Avanzo, Gilbert Gottfried, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, and Ellen Degeneres.
Some celebrities confessed their love for the raunchy novel, which is a part of a trilogy. The other two books are "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed."
Cafemom.com featured a list of celebrities who had something to say about "Fifty Shades of Grey" in last month.
Pop singer and actress Hillary Duff said, ""I feel a little dirty reading that book right now." And as for the movie, she added, "Personally, I would love if Ryan Gosling would do it, but I know he never would."
Ryan Seacrest said, "I'm obsessed. And I'm using it as a manual. I think it can be a study book for a lot of people."
"I've read every book," Ashley Benson said. "I want to play Anastasia."
Of course, Ian Somerhalder, Lucy Hale, and Alexander Skarsgard are in love with these books. We know this because they are running for the roles of the two main characters, Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.
"I absolutely would be up for that," Somerhalder said. "I have the book and I just started reading it. That would be a pretty incredible thing, and hopefully that could pan out. Yes, beyond the shadow of a doubt I think that would be a phenomenal opportunity!"
Hale said, "I just finished the first [book] - I'm speechless. I think every girl on the carper wants to play [Ana]! That would be freaking awesome. I'm really curious to see how they're going to turn it into a film."
"Where do I sign," Skarsgard said. "He's got a sex chamber? My character [Eric Northman] has that on 'True Blood.' He's got a little dungeon. I was born to play that part."
"One Direction" star Niall Horan,18, told the Daily Mirror that he recently started reading the book; one of his fans gave it to him, according to Hollywood Life.
"A girl gave it to me the other day," he said. "I read the first page and put it down. But it was good!"
Right now, Ryan Gosling seems to be the favorite one to play Christian, according to various sources. Nothing has been decided, but the suspense continues to build among fans.
