Disney+ recently released the initial episode of the 'Percy Jackson' Series. As we wait for more episodes, there is no better time to read its book counterpart in order.
Initially, the 'Percy Jackson' series consisted of just five books. Rick Riordan added another series, 'The Heroes of Olympus,' comprising five books. Considering the abundance of stories in Greek mythology, Riordan created a third series called 'The Trials of Apollo,' which has five books. Another two books were also made for characters Riordan thinks need some revisiting.
Here is a guide to ensure your reading journey aligns with the storyline.
This book starts the entire series of 'Percy Jackson.' Percy discovers that his real father is Poseidon. Percy sets on a journey to locate the entrance to the Underworld and prevent a war among the gods.
With Thalia's Tree unexpectedly poisoned, the magical border of Camp Half-Blood starts to weaken. To restore the camp's power, Percy embarks on a journey to retrieve the Golden Fleece.
A powerful ancient monster has risen; the lost goddess Artemis is the only one who can track it. Percy assembles a team to rescue Artemis. They set on a journey to unravel the mystery of the titan's curse within a week, facing their most challenging prophecy yet.
A war between the gods is approaching. Percy and his friends set out on a quest through the labyrinth to stop the war. The goal is to locate the workshop of the skilled artisan Daedalus, concealed within an extensive Labyrinth.
Concluding the first series, Percy's journey reaches its climax in a battle against the Titan Lord Kronos. Olympus's destiny is in jeopardy. Percy's father reveals the reality concerning a prophecy linked to Percy's 16th birthday.
When we thought the first series was over, Riordan added another book, which was released on September 26. Percy is now getting into college, and he needs to fulfill three quests to get three letters of recommendation. To secure his first recommendation letter, he must embark on a quest to help the cupbearer, Ganymede, find his goblet before it falls into the wrong hands.
Set to release on September 24, 2024, Riordan shared that this book follows Percy's quest to secure the second letter of recommendation.
