Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart fans don't take what to believe because of numerous conflicting reports in the media.
Ever since Stewart cheated on Pattinson with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders in July, countless reports have been made about how each party feels and what's been going on with the estranged couple.
The latest conflicting report is that the "Twilight" stars are reuniting at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday, Sept. 6.
According to a report by DNAIndia, the pair will both appear at the Award show.
Pattinson, 26, and Stewart, 22, are both due to present an award together at the event at the Staples Center, but after the cheating scandal, their presence was put in doubt.
However, MTV VMA host Kevin Hart believes both will still attend in order to promote the final movie in the vampire series "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2."
He told BANG Showbiz, "From what I understand they're both still gonna be here. I'm not really up to speed on the whole soap opera that's been going on between them. I know they've got a movie to promote. 'Twilight's' coming out so it makes sense for them to show up at the VMAs if you ask me. [Although] I don't really care."
However, many reports say that Stewart won't be attending the show because she is going to the premiere to promote her upcoming film "On the Road," according to Hollywood Life. It will be her first public appearance since the cheating scandal.
The Examiner reported that HollywoodLife.com said Pattinson will most likely attend the MTV Video Music Awards since Stewart is not going to attend. However, earlier reports suggested that Pattinson and Stewart both weren't going to the VMA's.
Patinson recently revealed that he reads the tabloid stories about himself and he finds it an "addicting" thing to do. He said it is like "picking a scab," according to the Examiner.
However it turns out, Twi-hards still want to see their favorite stars on the red carpet for "Breaking Dawn Part 2," which releases on Nov. 16.
It was reported that both "Twilight" co-stars will reunite at the premiere of the epic finale.
However, reports said that Stewart, Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner (Jacob) will not be appearing at the upcoming final fan conventions promoting "Breaking Dawn Part 2."
The upcoming events are scheduled for Saturday in Aug. 25 in San Antonio; Sept. 29 in Detroit; Oct. 5 in Parsippany, N.J.; and Nov. 3 in Los Angeles. Los Angeles is the only one they all attended in 2011.
"The passion and dedication of 'Twilight' fandom has been amazing and we're out to throw one last giant convention, a final gathering to see old friends that have made up the Twilight family," said Creation Entertainment. "Although Rob, Kristen and Taylor will not be with us this time out we will have a super line-up of other Twilight stars and the weekend will be filled with special events, movie prop and costume displays, contests, panels, auctions, parties, exclusive merchandise, music and much more, including some surprises!"
