Lionsgate has finally released the first full-length trailer for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2," the ultimate conclusion to the epic journey of Katniss Everdeen. The video [watch it below] showcased the glorious formation of the districts as the girl on fire leads them to one shot at taking down President Snow.
In the two-and-a-half-minute trailer, the rebellion was at full blast with the evil Panem leader setting up deadly minefields all over the area as the rebellious group try to breach his territory. Katniss knows it's the last chance they got in dismantling The Capitol. Gale urges everyone to "make it count."
Snow has prepared contraptions and snares that are nothing even the tributes have seen in any Hunger Games. He proves that he isn't one to trifle with and he definitely doesn't plan on losing to the people he spent his whole life making their pain his entertainment.
With all the explosions, fires and gushes of goo chasing the rebels to their deaths, Finnick felt like the 76th Hunger Games has commenced. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" is clearly all about the warfare and the full-scale revolution.
The film is the fourth and final film to Suzanne Collins's three-book young adult series. Jennifer Lawrence, for the last time, will return as Katniss Everdeen. Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth are back as Peeta and Gale, respectively.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" is the second half of the last book in Collins' trilogy. The first one, which The Guardian said, only went so far as to make a muffled splash in the scene, was all about Katniss being successfully encouraged to be the face of the revolution.
"I don't really feel like [the end] has happened yet," Lawrence said at San Diego Comic-Con as quoted by The Guardian. "It's such a huge part of my life. These movies changed my life. I don't think I'll ever say goodbye. Katniss is a part of me," she went on to say.
As per Wall Street Journal, ending a franchise on a high note is a great pressure. The site says that fans could be very critical when it comes to conclusions to massive book adaptations such as "The Hunger Games." However, director Francis Lawrence isn't worried about that. He already promised in a chat with the 2015 Comic-con crowd, as quoted by Entertainment Weekly, that "anyone who loves the end of the book will love the end of the movie."
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" will be out November 20.'
