Infographics are getting better and better. There seems to be one for everything. Now we have one to help with the prennial challenge of what book to read on the beach or during the cross country drive you'll take this summer.
Summer books are particulary hard to select because there's a lot of pressure to find just the right book. Maybe one that's not too heavy but one that's light enough or engaging enough that it qualifies as an escapist book. There's something about reading a difficult book in the summer that just doesn't gel with the season. There are plenty of great books that aren't necessarily page turners--in fact, the majority of good literature falls into this category. If you're someone who reads for language more than story line than this may be a moot point. Yet, the fact that finding the right book, during any season, is a personal challenge is certainly a universal truth.
To help with that challenge, Teach.com has come up with this handy infographic to help make it a tad easier to find the right book to read this summer. There seems to be something for everyone--from classical titles, young adult novels to short story collections.
Teach.com is "a comprehensive educational web resource dedicated to discovering, discussing and encouraging great thinking around the world." Here is the infographic the organization created to make our lives a little easier this summer.
