Rachel Ray, the cooking star and host of the "Rachel Ray Show," has a new 200 recipe cookbook dedicated solely to arguably the best culinary invention ever. "The Book of Burger," however is not just about burgers. The cookbook also includes recipes for sandwiches, hot dogs, sloppies and the classic side to any of these bread based meals, french fries.
Perhaps, the title should have been "America's Best Culinary Exports" or "Dough and Meal" or "BurgerWi(t)ch".
Regardless of the lack of precision in titling her book, one thing is for certain. Rachel will once again hit a homerun with this cookbook. How can one be so sure? Well, every other cookbook that she has written has gone on to become a bestseller. Another reason why she will again strike a chord with eaters and buyers is best summed up in her own words. Of the book, Rachel said, "I've been obsessed with burgers for a long time because I love what burgers say to people. Everyone is included, you're never intimidated to pick up a burger."
Ray who is the most popular culinary star according to analysis of media coverage on food stars has another book, "My Year in Meals," coming out shortly after this one.
