While fans are anxiously waiting for her eighth studio album to be released, Rihanna had seemingly unveiled the possible cover art for her latest project.
According to Complex, Rihanna tweeted a photo last Feb. 20 which is rumored to be the cover of her upcoming eighth studio album, or an image that will appear in the accompanying booklet.
RiRi had just celebrated her 27th birthday last Feb. 20 and she shared the braless, black-and-white image to the world on her day. “Shot by Paolo Roversi for #R8”, the singer wrote on her post together with the photo.
The Barbadian star also posted the same picture on her Instagram account along with a birthday message, "27 years ago, my mother gave birth to her very first child at the tender age of 27! Life is never a piece of birthday cake, but I feel special that I was chosen by my Father in Heaven to make it here! And each year that goes by I am more grateful! Every day we wake up, means we get another chance at life....to live what we've learned and to discover even more, to be good to other people and to know that you are a part of their smile! I cherish these days, and I pray that God will spare my life to see many more! #Feb20"
Meanwhile, "R8" is set to be produced by none other than RiRi's favorite collaborator, Kanye West. The Chicago emcee, who appeared on the red carpet at Sunday's 57th Annual Grammy Awards with wife Kim Kardashian announced he will be contributing to her new music.
"I'm executive producing Rihanna's album," he told E!'s Ryan Seacrest, according to Billboard "I played her my album, and I said I got a few songs with Paul McCartney. She couldn't get past the record. She had to have it on her album."
"So now we're at the Grammys doing it," added West, who performed RiRi's lead single alongside her and McCartney live for the first time.
There is no release date set as of now for Rihanna's eight album. Reps for Rihanna did inform Rolling Stone though that "FourFiveSeconds" will be appearing on both Rihanna and West's upcoming albums.
