One thing Harry Potter fans love about JK Rowling is that even after all the books and the movies have been read and seen, she still leaves the gate to Hogwarts wide open. The bestselling author continues to give fans a glimpse of what the world of magic they came to love and the people in it are up to.
So just in time for the start of a new school year, she keeps fans up to speed with the Potter family. Ginny and Harry's firstborn is 11 years old right now and ready for Hogwarts. Huffington Post counts he would have been born in 2004. That time, Harry was 24 and Ginny was 23 -- fairly young, but not as young as James and Lily, who had Harry at 20.
James Sirius is off to Hogwarts and Rowling made sure he gets the proper welcome and boost he needs and so she urged every Potterhead on Twitter to wish the youngster good luck as he begins his own wonderful journey of magic and of course, they did this with pleasure and pride.
I'm in Edinburgh, so could somebody at King's Cross wish James S Potter good luck for me? He's starting at Hogwarts today. #BackToHogwarts

After everyone at Platform 9 and 3/4 made the boy feel all confident and all set on his first day, they start to wonder which house he will be sorted to. Rowling was more than happy to tell everyone that James Sirius follows through the same house his parents were under when they were at Hogwarts. That's right, the Sorting Hat has spoken. Young James is a Gryffindor, as everyone knew he would turn out to be. Here's to hoping that Rowling will also give more tales about James Sirius' own adventures in his school. The "Harry Potter" author also revealed which house Remus and Nymphadora's kid, Teddy Lupin, will end up going. And just like his courageous mother, Teddy was sorted to Hufflepuff (His father, by the way, was a Gryffindor). But not only that, he was also elected the Head Boy in the house. Certainly, his parents, who unfortunately perished in the Battle of Hogwarts as Bustle recalls, would be proud of little Teddy as he continues the legacy of achieving such prefect status, which they themselves enjoyed when they studied at Hogwarts.
Have just heard that James S Potter has been Sorted (to nobody's surprise) into Gryffindor. Teddy Lupin (Head Boy, Hufflepuff) disappointed. — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) September 1, 2015
These two will likely be joined by Albus Severus, James' younger brother and Rose, Ron and Hermione's daughter. Also tagging along is Draco Malfoy and Astoria Greengrass' son Scorpius Hyperion. What will they all be up to? What stories are they bound to tell and the shenanigans they would perform? Rowling may reveal more soon.
