The rivalry between Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart seems more of a fake one now.
Reports said Lawrence and Stewart were acting like old pals at the SOHO House in Toronto. Both actress were promoting "On the Road" and "Silver Linings Playbook" at the Toronto Film Festival.
"After being introduced, Kristen and Jennifer were soon chatting like old pals," a source told People magazine.
"They were so excited to meet each other," the source says. The duo was joined by Bradley Cooper, Lawrence's costar in "Silver Linings Playbook."
Lawrence even invited Stewart to a party for "Silver Linings Playbook" at the Soho House later that evening.
According to TorontoLife, the "Twilight" and "The Hunger Games" stars met up for a secret late-night rendezvous. "The Soho brass opened a VMIP (that's very most important people) third floor so that K-Stew and J-Law could hang out away from prying eyes," TorontoLife reported.
Stewart dressed down for the night. She wrote her requisite skinny jeans in black, an old white t-shirt knotted at the waist and her favorite black leather jacket, according to CelebsGather. "Kristen wore her new favorite accessory as well, the black nerdy glasses that she seems to like hiding behind."
Emma Watson was also in attendance. Gather reported that the leading ladies found a quiet corner and engaged in conversation.
According to Nick Jones, "They're just three girls having a quiet chat after a long day and an even longer night working." The ladies can all identify with the ups and downs of fame and share a common bond. Each has been the star of a major teen franchise, Gather reported.
"People who saw them said they were geeking out about each other," a source told Us Weekly of the actresses, both 22 and the heroines of their own globally massive fantasy franchises). The source added, "Kristen and Jennifer told friends they had emailed in the past but had never seen each other face to face. They're big fans of each other."
Us Weekly reported that back in March, Lawrence told Access Hollywood that she had emailed fellow superstar Stewart over a supposed feud.
"I wrote her an email because there was this huge, like, article about a 'Twilight' and 'Hunger Games' feud," Lawrence said. "And we've never met before and never spoken . . . "I just shot her an email, and was like, 'Hey, can't wait to see more as this feud unfolds!'"
To her surprise, Stewart replied!
"[Kristen] wrote me back, and she was like, 'It's fine. Welcome to [our] world where everything you say gets turned into [something it's not],'" Lawrence said. "So, she understood."
Well there you have it: Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence are NOT enemies.
