There seem to be good news for Kristen Stewart fans.
According to The Wrap, Universal Pictures has denied a report stating that the studio had dropped Stewart from her role as Snow White in "Snow White and the Huntsman" after her cheating scandal with director Rupert Sanders.
"We are extremely proud of 'Snow White and the Huntsman' and we're currently exploring all options to continue the franchise," Donna Langely, the co-chairman of Universal Pictures, said in a statement to The Wrap. "Any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false."
The Hollywood Reporter cited unnamed sources on Tuesday saying Universal dropped Stewart from the next film in the franchise.
Universal has been planning a sequel to this summer's film, which was a modest success at the box office, with a production budget of $170 million and a global gross of roughly $389 million.
It appears Universal is particularly interested in a spinoff focused on the Huntsman character, played by Chris Hemsworth.
Reports suggest that the next movie might be a sequel or a spinoff featuring Hemsworth.
It is unclear is Sanders will still direct the next "Snow White and the Huntsman."
The "Twilight" actress was caught canoodling with Sanders in photographs posted by US Weekly.
A report by TMZ said that Stewart is pissed she's taking all the heat for the scandal, instead of the older Sanders who was in a position of power over her.
"Kristen is also incensed that she's being called the big cheater. Although she knows she shouldn't have done it because she was in a committed relationship with Robert Pattinson, she feels Rupert is in a totally different and far more culpable situation, being married with 2 kids," TMZ said.
Pattinson, 26, recently came back in the spotlight after hiding following the scandal. Reports said that he was deeply heartbroken and at first wouldn't speak to Stewart after her public apology to him. Now, they are reportedly on speaking terms somewhat.
"You go into it to do movies. I'm never been interested in trying to sell my personal life. The reason why you go onto TV is to promote movies. That's the only way to do it," told host George Stephanopoulos in a live interview at ABC's "Good Morning America" about how he's handling his personal life.
Pattinson has been dodging questions about Stewart's cheating, keeping focus on promoting his new film "Cosmopolis."
"You seem to be doing okay," Stephanopoulos reasoned to the star, whose romantic status with Stewart, 22, remains up in the air: "Yeah, yeah," he said quietly.
Earlier in the week, Pattinson appeared on "The Daily Show," where Jon Stewart handed him Ben & Jerry's ice cream and lightly brushed over the subject.
Pattinson will sit down with MTV News on Thursday for "MTV First: Robert Pattinson" and talk more about "Cosmopolis." Fans can tune in 7:49 p.m. ET on MTV and MTV.com.
