'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' Trailer: 'Toddlers in Tiaras' Star Alana Thompson Gets New Reality Show on TLC

The first two episodes of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" premiered Wednesday on TLC, and boy were the viewers in for a treat.

The new reality TV show stars "Toddlers in Tiaras" breakout star Alana Thompson, better known as Honey Boo Boo, and her Georgia family.

"You know that's just us. For the most part that is us every day," Alana's mom, June Shannon told ABC News. "We're not all about pageants. We are a little redneckish, and we live in Georgia and that's what people do in the country -- get muddy and have fun with the family."

The family includes mom June, who was also featured on "Toddlers in Tiaras;" dad "Sugar Bear," a chalk-miner; sisters "Pumpkin" Lauryn, "Chubbs" Jessica, and "Chickadee" Anna.

Good Morning America via Yahoo described the first two episodes, which feature the family at the Redneck Games, where Pumpkin bobs for pig's feet while the rest of the family participates in the "Mudpit Belly Flop."

"It's about southern pride. Sort of like the Olympics," Shannon said.

They also prepare Alana for a pageant, go to auctions to bid on junk food for the family and buy a tea-cup pig they name Glitzy.

"She's been asking for something similar to that pig for awhile," Shannon said. "Alana came to us a couple weeks before the pageant, then she lost, and Sugar Bear wanted to cheer her up. Glitzy's no bigger than about seven or eight pounds."

Shannon says viewers should expect more family fueled activities from the Thompson clan, including more mud-slinging and pageants.

"We're just not like a boring family. We like to have fun and we do whatever pops in our head to a certain extent," Shannon said. "People may call it crazy, but we just call it fun, anything to spend time with one another and pass the time."

Honey Boo Boo is also known for her "Go Go Juice" drinking, a mixture of Mountain Dew and Red Bull. June said she used to use 15 bags of Pixy Stix, tubes of powdered sugar often known as "pageant crack," but it failed to boost her daughter's energy, according to Daily mail.

The outspoken 6-year-old also told Access Hollywood that she hates Justin Bieber.

"I like 'Sponge Bob,'" Alana told Access.

"You like Justin Bieber?" June asked her daughter.

"No, I hate him!" the child reality star exclaimed.

Later Alana explained that she was however a fan of "Justin Beaver," presumably referring to the pop star.

In addition to Justin Bieber (and Beaver), Alana loves Taylor Swift and Nickelodeon's "iCarly" and "How to Rock."

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" is on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on TLC.
