Robert Pattinson Bans Kristen Stewart From 'Cosmopolis' Premiere; Liberty Ross Axes 'Snow White' Sequel

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are reportedly talking again, but the 26-year-old "Twilight" star banned his cheating girlfriend from his New York movie premiere.

According to RadarOnline.com, Stewart was banished from attending Pattinson's "Cosmopolis" premiere on August 13.

Security staff has been told to keep Stewart, 22, away from the red carpet and after party for the premiere, in fear she may use it as an excuse to speak with Pattinson in person.

The film's movie bosses are also wary of the media storm it would cause and don't want her appearance distracting the public from the movie.

"Despite the fact Robert and Kristen have been communicating by cell phone, she will not be at the 'Cosmopolis' New York premiere," a source said.

"Security was briefed and they were told that Kristen is not allowed anywhere near the red carpet or the after party.

"The decision was made because Robert just doesn't want to see her. There were fears that she could use it as a chance to talk to him in person and that sort of drama is not wanted at the premiere.

"There's also the fact that if she did attend, it would distract from the film premiere itself and the movie bosses are not interested in that sort of publicity.

"It's going to be Robert's first public appearance since the scandal broke - and they really want to make it less of a media circus than it already will be," the source said.

People Magazine reported Wednesday that the vampire-playing "Breaking Dawn Part 2" stars began talking again last weekend after Stewart sent a barrage of tearful texts and calls his way.

"Rob just isn't going to be able to get beyond the cheating - one time or not," a source who knows them both told PEOPLE.

Speaking of upcoming movies, RadarOnline.com also reported that Liberty Ross told husband Rupert Sanders that he will not be directing a "Snow White and the Huntsman" sequel if he wants to win her back.

The British model gave the stern warning to the movie director in a desperate bid to save their marriage after revelations he had an affair with Stewart.

Sanders, 41, was originally lined up to direct the sequel after it became a box office success. However, he is yet to sign an agreement with Universal Pictures who are considering putting someone else in the director's chair.

"They are trying to work things out after he was caught having an affair, and that is one of the sticking points. She just doesn't want him to ever work with Kristen again," a source revealed.

Rupert is obviously disappointed because Snow White and the Huntsman was his directorial debut, and he had hoped on building on that with a follow-up after some decent reviews.

"But he knows his actions were inexcusable, and he's going to have to bite the bullet and listen to his wife on this one."

With "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" coming out in November, Summit Entertainment said that the two must go to the "Twilight" promotional activities.

CBS News reported that the president of worldwide marketing for Summit Entertainment, Nancy Kirkpartrick, told Entertainment Weekly, "While it is studio policy not to comment of the personal lives of actors, Summit is moving full steam ahead and looking forward to this November's opening of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.' We are confident that the film delivers amazing entertainment for our passionate fans and general audience alike."
