While Twi-hard fans are waiting for the sneak footage that was shown to some lucky fans at Comic-Con 2012 to be released to the public, loyal "Twilighters" are scrambling the internet to find more information.
Those who couldn't make it to the 45th annual event in San Diego didn't get a chance to see the exclusive 7-minute footage that was shown at the "Twilight" panel, which was on Thursday, July 12, at 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. MTV News held a live stream of the panel and interviewed cast members including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.
Books & Review decided to post some behind-the-scenes footage (see below) of the fight scene between Edward (Pattinson) and Jacob (Lautner) that will be shown in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2." Lautner looks a bit nervous as he's about to be flung by Pattinson. It's short, but to the point and funny.
There is also bonus wedding video of Bella (played by Stewart) and Edward that happened in "Breaking Dawn Part 1" that will have fans fall in love all over again with the beloved "Twilight" franchise.
"Breaking Dawn Part 2" is the epic finale of the Bella and Edward's story as they bring together vampires of different covens to protect their half-vampire, half-human daughter Renesmee, from the Volturi. The final installment also centers on Bella, as she is a new vampire, and how she is adapting to her new abilities.
In the bestselling novel, written by Stephanie Meyers, the Denali, Egyptian, Irish, Amazon, and the Romanian Coven come to defend the Cullens after Irina reported to the Volturi that the Cullens created an immortal child. Due to her hatred with Bella because of Bella's relationship with the wolves as well as the unfulfilled revenge of her mate Laurent, she betrayed her sisters and her allies.
A new coven is also coming to help that does not exist in the book, like the French Coven.
Henri, played by Amadou Ly, is a vampire that is gifted with the ability to physically "flick people away with his index finger," according to Twilight Wiki. Those "flicked" are thrown back noticeable distances. This might be a form of telekinesis.
Yvette, played by Janelle Froehlich, is a co-member of the French Coven. Not a lot of information is revealed about her.
Summit Entertainment recently released 12 character posters of some of the vampires from the other covens who come to help Bella (played by Kristen Stewart) and Edward (played by Robert Pattinson) to help save their child Renesmee (played by Mackenzie Foy).
On February 10, Target showed a sneak peek of the upcoming movie in stores, which was also the release day of the "Breaking Dawn Part 1" DVD. That footage was leaked on youtube. This time, fans were looking for the same thing. They came up disappointed.
Some 28 seconds of the 7-minute exclusive footage was leaked on youtube. In the video, you can hear someone tell the camera person that cameras weren't allowed to film the footage.
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" will be released in theaters November 16, 2012.
