Robert Pattinson is not speaking out publicly, but sources are dishing out new information surrounding his (ex) girlfriend's cheating scandal with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.
Here are the details that are circulating the web:
US Weekly reported that Pattinson might be hiding out in California, multiple sources confirmed.
Pattinson is "really depressed," one source close to the actor says. "He doesn't know what to do. He doesn't know if he should forgive [Kristen] or not."
The story of Pattinson hanging out in his hometown of London is reportedly not true, US Weekly confirmed.
Radar Online reported that Pattinson wants to know exactly what happened between Stewart, 22, and Sanders, 41, after looking at photos of them canoodling in July.
"Rob wants to have a man to man chat with Rupert to find out exactly what happened between him and Kristen," a source close to the Twilight star exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
"Kristen has already betrayed his trust by cheating, so he can't be sure that she will tell him exactly what went on between her and Rupert. Rupert has a wife and a family to save, so Rob feels like he has nothing left to lose and would be honest with him."
The insider went on to reveal that Rob feels doubly betrayed because he trusted Rupert as the director of Kristen's film "Snow White and the Huntsman" and had no idea the two were getting so close while he wasn't around.
"Rob really was blindsided by this and he's going through the typical stages of being cheated on," the source said.
"He was hurt and heartbroken, then angry and pissed off, and now he just wants answers. He feels like he needs to know exactly what happened, how far it went and how many times, so he can figure out if this is something he can move past.
"He's not ready to talk with Kristen, it's too painful, so he's going to Rupert."
"Rob just doesn't know who or what to believe right now," the source said. "And he'll do whatever it takes to find out the truth."
According to The Sun, an insider said, "Rupert has a wife and a family to save, so Rob feels like he has nothing left to lose and would be honest with him."
Kristen Stewart issued a statement admitting her affair with Sanders, ""I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
The Huffington Post reported that Stewart had more than 24 hours of notice that the photos were going to be released on July 25, which gave her time to craft an emotional apology.
Radar Online reported that the "Twilight" couple are having a bitter custody battle of the dog they share.
On the pet front, Stewart will keep her cat, Max, but 26-year-old Pattinson wants Bear - the mixed mutt rescue they adopted from a high-kill shelter in New Orleans.
But K-Stew won't give up Bear without a fight; she's especially fond of the dog after helping him fight the potentially fatal disease Parvo.
"After Rob moved his things out of their Los Angeles home, he then told Kristen he wanted Bear," an insider said.
"She wants joint custody - and it could get a little messy," the insider revealed.
A U-Haul moving truck was seen Saturday at the Los Angeles home of Pattinson in Los Feliz. He moved out.
Stewart wants to have a crisis talk. She wants Pattinson to meet her in New York City next week, but Pattinson reportedly told her that he needs at least two months to decide where to take her back.
Hollywood Life reported:
"He's angry, hurt and upset and is sick of people taking sides already," a source tells Daily Star.
"He's hoping to get two months to himself without Kristen around just to think things through. She has sent him messages asking him to hook up in New York for crisis talks next week, but he wants to be alone."
The only communication: "Rob is angry -- he's left the mansion and not spoken to her since," a source close to the situation says. "They have exchanged heated text messages only."
Stewart has moved out of the Los Feliz home as well, Hollywood Life reported.
Allegedly Pattinson is turning to strangers to ask for advice.
The Sun reported that a source close to the actor revealed: "Robert has resorted to asking strangers out to keep him company.
"He went out for drinks with a woman staying in his hotel and he told her it was 'ridiculous' he had nobody to talk to. He's been spending most of his days off playing computer games."
Both families of the pair are stunned.
Daily News & Analysis reported:
A source said, "Rob and Kristen have been closer than ever recently, and until this week the family was expecting them to get engaged."
The 'Bel Ami' star is said to be particularly unhappy that his agent initially broke the news of Kristen's affair, rather than her telling him herself.
Another source told Reveal magazine, "It was like a bolt out of the blue. He was on his own when he got a call from his agent and there was stunned silence as he tried to take it all in.
"When he confronted Kristen about it, she didn't try to deny anything. She was crying and kept saying, 'I'm sorry.' "
Despite the heartbreak and humiliation, the two must attend the November premiere of "Breaking Dawn Part 2."
The Sun reported:
They are contractually obliged to be snapped side by side on the red carpet.
A source said: "RPatz is in pieces but the Twilight love triangle storyline is nothing without him and Kristen. It is eating him up that he has no choice but to see her again because of work. His humiliation is total."
