Casey Anthony May Have A Book Coming Out

Casey Anthony, the Florida mom who was acquitted for the murder of her daughter last year, plans to write a book. But many say that the reception to a book by the woman who many believe was wrongfully acquitted would be lukewarm at best.  In fact, given the public outrage over her exoneration, people may be equally outraged by Anthony profiting from her daughter's death. There have also been reports that Anthony may also be interested in making a movie from the book.

The book would be adapted from a journal that Anthony kept since her daughter Caylee Anthony went missing. Anthony and her lawyer, Cheney Mason, spoke to Piers Morgan in an untelevised interview over the phone last night. When asked about the book, Anthony told Pierce, "I'm not making gazillions dollars [selling her story]. I don't give an [expletive] about money. ... I may have in past. ... I was a stupid kid. I am 26 now. I have gone through hell."

Her lawyer said it's not a matter of whether she would tell her side of the story but when she would end up doing so. "We are sitting back watching, Mason said, "When the time comes she will have her story to tell."

Mason also said that Anthony feels like she is still in jail because she does not dare come out of her house for fear of getting hurt by people who are still angered by the verdict that absolved her of the crime of killing her daughter. "She's in a home where she can't go outside. She can't be seen so she spends the day in the house, cooks, cleans, reads books, exercises, watches programs on TV, movies mostly," Mason said.

Anthony is currently on probation in a secret Florida location for a check fraud probation. She has received several death threats.
