Samsung Galaxy Tab S Pro Launching With Galaxy Tab S2? Release Date, Specs, Features & Price Details Here [Rumors]

It looks like Samsung is preparing to bring out a pair of new premium tablets in the near future. According to Irish Examiner, the South Korea-based tech firm will lift the veil off these two devices at the same time.

As per the publication mentioned above, the Galaxy maker has already patented the name Samsung Galaxy Tab S Pro and will use it to call a new device. Sam Mobile, a trusty tipster when it comes to future Samsung releases, adds that the trademarking happened on July 3.

There weren't any available details prior to this sighting but now that it has seemingly emerged, there's now word on its specs sheet. Sam Mobile says it might come in a display that may be bigger than 8.4 and 10.5 inches.

Irish Examiner claims that an Exynos 7420 chipset will power the alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab S Pro. This will be complemented with a hefty 3GB of RAM and 32GB worth of storage space. Unfortunately, that is what rumor mills has managed to churn for now.

Yibada surmises that Samsung Galaxy Tab S Pro is the company's attempt for a tablet and laptop hybrid. It will probably even square off against the rumored Apple iPad Pro, which, unfortunately, the iPhone-maker isn't making official yet.

According to Irish Examiner, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S Pro is expected to be made official in August as this is the same month Samsung usually refreshes this lineup. Sam Mobile adds that after an August unveiling, the device will hit the market by fall.

Meanwhile, as for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, Yibada reports that it will come in two variants: one with an 8-inch screen and the other with a bigger 9.7-inch display (both will be AMOLED). These editions will go by model numbers SM-T715 and SM-T815m respectively.

Android Authority reports that an Exynos 5433 processor will be used for the Galaxy Tab S2. It is also expected to offer 3 GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage and Android Lollipop. The site also raised the possibility of the pair donning a fingerprint sensor and a sleek metal unibody.

The same site reports that the smaller new Galaxy Tab S2 (Wi-Fi only) will come out with a $441 (€399) price tag while would-be buyers of the bigger tablet (Wi-Fi only) are looking at $550 (€499). There are no accessible pricing details on the 4G LTE variants of the devices.
