Since the Season 5 Finale of the show, The Walking Dead fans are getting more and more excited to see some "walkers" again.
Good news for fans looking for heaps of zombie action, there is a lot to look forward to the next season.
Here is a list of top five spoilers revealed from talks with the producer, actors and from the comics itself.
1. "Walkers" will become the bigger threat.
Entertainment Weekly reports that on the final episode of season five, the after-show "Talking Dead" revealed what's coming next season. Showrunner Scott M. Gimple did not make it to discuss the dead, but he sent a note for host Chris Hardwick to read on air. The note read:
"For a good while now, humans have been the bigger threat. At the start of our next season, that will change. I've said before the show reinvents itself every eight episodes and we're doing it again, friends.
"Now that these characters know that they have what it takes to survive, what are they going to do with that power? How will they choose to live?
"Beyond answering those questions, we're currently putting into motion some of our most ambitious stuff yet and things are going to get very big, loud and scary."
2. Rick and Morgan reunite with tension.
In the last season, Rick and Morgan's reunion wasn't all hugs and greetings.
In the final episode, Deanna leaves it to Rick to kill Pete. Meanwhile, Morgan chose this moment to suddenly appear, witnessing the execution.
Andrew Lincoln, the actor who plays as Rick, told Collider during an interview, "There will be tension between those two characters definitely."
3. The thrilling plot grows stronger.
Even actor Lincoln himself is thrilled about the upcoming season.
"I think the writing and the story is getting stronger and stronger. I'm thrilled," he told Collider. "I thought that last season Rick's journey was some of the finest and most complex that I've had to attempt.
"Scott and the writers team are just magnificent. As long as they keep pushing us in the direction they're doing I think we're going to open up the world in a way we've never ever experienced before."
4. The Wolves
The Wolves, another group of survivors in the apocalypse, is the new threat of this season.
Fans of the comics already know the danger that comes with The Wolves.
At the end of Season 5, The Wolves have acquired a map of Alexandria. Nobody knows what kind of plan this group may be planning in their lair.
"They’re the type of people who Deanna would not permit into the Alexandria Safe-Zone community," Comicbook describes.
5. The Walking Heartthrob
Daryl Dixon, portrayed by Norman Reedus, is one of the most favorite characters of the series. He's only Rick's right hand, but he beats the lead role when it comes to fangirls.
Design & Trend reports that Daryl's absence would make the story infinitely different. Apparently, Daryl had become "the walking heartthrob" of the series.
The Season 5 finale of the show aired on March 29. The filming for the upcoming season started last May, and the release date is set in October.
