While it still doesn't give a definitive answer on Mitt Romney's foreign policy position, a new revelation of his reading choice might give voters some answers.  Reporters recently caught the presidential candidate reading "The Next 100 Years" by intellignece analyst George Friedman.  Some of the predictions of the book include a renewed Cold War with Russia and political tensions between the U.S. and Mexico due to the immigration policy and the treatment of Mexican immigrants in the U.S.

When reporters asked Romney about the book, he simply said that it was "interesting."  His response, however, has given rise to speculation about his views on foreign policy and immigration, where he hasn't always been eager to speak on.

However, his book choice is not entirely surprising as Romney has warned of increasing threats against the U.S.  Yet, Friedman's book goes a step futher than the statements Romney has made on current and potential threats to U.S. security.  Some other examples the author paints of the future include a third world war playing out in space, Mexico vying for world supremacy and Japan and Tukey forming an alliance to attack the U.S. are some of the predictions made in the book.  Romney has mainly spoken of problems with Iran, China and Pakistan.
