Fans have speculated as to how the singer-actress and Jay-Z's better half, has maintained her curvaceous frame through the years. After all, Beyonce is known for her sexy figure.
Now, all the ladies (and gents, too!) can live and experience Beyonce's latest diet plan through her trainer, Marco Borges' new book, "The 22-Day Revolution". Before embarking on a Beyonce-inspired diet, here are the three things you should know from the book.
The diet plan will require the individual to go on an all-vegan diet for 22 days.
The diet will mainly consist of plant-based meals, according to Daily Mail. That includes organic ingredients that are non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free.
But there is no need to fear the diet program for non-vegans. The book includes a comprehensive description of the fundamentals of an all-vegan, plant-based diet. Also included in the book are delicious recipes that are easy to prepare, as well as a detailed 22-day meal program to be followed. If Beyonce is not enough for your to feel motivated to complete the diet plan, the book has also included motivational tips and strategies on staying on track with the program.
For those who live busy lifestyles and may not have enough time to prepare their plant-based meals, Beyonce and Borges has recently launched The 22-Day Revolution meal service, wherein people can order their vegan meals and have it delivered right to their doorstep for less than $10 per meal, notes the Daily Mail.
The book can make you a vegan.
In the book's introduction, Beyonce details how going on the 22-day diet program changed her life.
Working on the principle that it takes 21 consecutive days to form a new habit, the book's diet plan sets out to change the lives of those who want to go through the "diet revolution". While the entire program only lasts for 22 days, the participants can opt to continue living the vegan diet even after the end of the program.
The program not only influenced Beyonce to go vegan, but also her husband, Jay-Z. According to Beyonce, she threw an all-vegan birthday party for Jay-Z's 44th birthday. Talk about family support!
The book can lead to self-empowerment (among all the other amazing benefits).
While other diet plans can make the individual groggy, hungry, or lethargic, Beyonce said that the diet plan did not have those effects on her. Instead, she feels better and happier.
"It took a few days to adjust, but what I discovered was increased energy, better sleep, weight loss, improved digestion, clarity, and an incredibly positive feeling for my actions and the effects it would have on those around me and the environment. I couldn't believe how much of our health we can control with food," the singer said in the book's introduction (via Singersroom).
"Empowerment starts within you and your decisions. You can control the quality of your life with the food you eat. The truth is that if a Houston-born foodie like me can do it, you can too - you just need to try it for 22 days," the singer said in the book.
