Gillian Flynn's "Gone Girl" drops to the third spot on NPR's Bestsellers' list after completing 42 weeks on the list.

Gillian Flynn's "Gone Girl" makes it on the NPR's Bestsellers' List for 42 weeks now and up until this week, was holding on to the number one position for four consecutive weeks. This week, however, the novel has fallen to third spot with Elizabeth Strout's "The Burgess Boys" taking number one position on the list and Jacqueline Winspear's "Leaving Everything Most Loved" coming in at number two.
