E.L. James does away with erotic writing and chooses writing a how-to book for her next project. The author revealed the title of her new book to be "Fifty Shades of Grey: Inner Goddess (A Journal)".
E.L. James' erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey" was the most-sold book of 2013. The author also received a National award for the novel and the movie adaptation of the novel has been trending news for months now.
After her successful stint in erotic writing, the author has decided on taking up another genre of writing. For her next project, James has decided to write a How-To book that inspires and guides aspiring novelists to writing a successful novel. The title of the book, James revealed, is "Fifty Shades of Grey: Inner Goddess (A Journal)".
According to a report by Vanity Fair, the book will apparently periodically feature blank, lined pages to allow "readers to set down their own ideas, or 'inner goddess.'"
According to Vintage Books publisher Anne Messitte, the guide was designed not to embarrass those holding it in public but to satisfy Fifty Shades of Grey readers who are curious about how James first got started.
"As E L James traveled and met with her readers, there was a great curiosity about how she got started writing," says Messitte. "Her personal story as a writer is inspirational to many women, and journaling has been an important part of her creative process from the start."
The book will be released May 1, 2013.
