In time for Christmas, Barnes & Noble slashed $20 off the price of its Simple Touch E-Reader, reports a press release.
To beat competitive rates of Amazon's Kindle ($69 and $89), and now that customers are looking to buy gifts for Christmas, Barnes & Noble has announced that it has cut down the price of its Simple Touch E-Reader by $20. So now, Barnes & Noble's award-winning NOOK Simple Touch is available for purchase at just $79.

According to the press release, the device can be purchased at Barnes & Noble retail stores and hundreds of Barnes & Noble College Bookstores, online at www.nook.com and through other leading retailers offering NOOK products, including Walmart, Target and Best Buy.
