Author Ernie Cline Signs New Book Deal: Book Titled 'Armada'

New York Times bestselling author Ernie Cline signs on a new book deal and the book has been titled "Armada". Details of the deal have not yet been revealed.

The author who debuted with "Ready Player One",  Ernie Cline has signed a new book deal for his upcoming novel "Armada". This debut book is currently being adapted by Warner Brothers.

According to a report by Media Bristo, "Farah Films & Management manager Dan Farah and Foundry Literary agent Yfat Reiss Gendell negotiated the deal with Random House's Crown Publishing division. Julian Pavia will edit."

The press release states that the deal was based on a 20 page proposal by the author. Film rights for the novel too will be given to a studio in the new feature. However no indication was given to what the storyline of the new novel is going to be.

The press release states: "The publishing deals are based on a 20 page proposal by Cline. Film rights are expected to find a studio home quickly. Story details are currently being kept under wraps, but the story is said to have a high concept hook that offers the ultimate wish fulfillment to every video game fan on the planet."

Cline's debut book "Ready Player One" was initially published in August 2011 in hardcover and soon earned its way to be mentioned in many 2011 bestselling lists. The author was also ranked No. 29 on USA Today's Top 100 People of 2011 List.
