Third Elmo Accuser Describes Relationship with Kevin Clash in Memoir

A third man who claims to have engaged in an underage relationship with Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash "gushes about his alleged encounter" in his memoir, reported the New York Post. The man's lawyer read the memoir, which is unpublished, to reporters Nov. 27.

According to The New York Post, in Chapter 11, "Tickled My Heart," the accuser claims that Clash, "showed me what it felt like to get on your knees and obey your man," lawyer Jeff Herman recited during a press conference at the Hilton in Midtown New York.

Refusing to reveal his identity, the accuser claims in a Manhattan federal lawsuit that he was 16 at the time of the encounter, in 2000.

"Mr. Tickler is what I will call him, and the game we played was father and son," Herman read.

"On our first night, I did not lose my virginity; however, I learned what it felt like to have a man kiss you and take your breath away."

Herman also reportedly claimed that other victims have approached him with similar allegations. Herman said he's still investigating the merit of their claims.

An attorney for Mr. Clash, Michael Berger, said: "I've looked at the complaint and it's totally meritless and barred by the statute of limitations." He added, "We intend to defend Mr. Clash and his reputation vigorously."

Now 28-years-old and living in Florida, the third alleged victim, referred to only as "John," claims in the suit that he met Clash in a gay chat room when he was 16.

When the teen visited New York in 2000 to pursue modeling opportunities, Clash invited him to stay at his Upper West Side apartment and the two had sex, the suit says.

According to the suit, "Kevin Clash gave John alcohol and groomed him. Kevin Clash engaged in sexual contact."

"As a compliant victim, John did not become aware that he had suffered adverse psychological and emotional effects from Kevin Clash's sexual acts and conduct until 2012," the lawsuit continues.

The lawsuit also reportedly describes the inside of Clash's Elmo-themed apartment. The residence is filled with Elmo dolls, and photos of Elmo with famous people, such as Beyoncé and Tyra Banks, the suit claims.

The accuser claims to have stayed in touch with Clash since the alleged sexual encounter. The lawsuit also alleges Clash and his accuser had additional encounters after the man turned 18.

"I am only coming forward in support for the two victims that were accused as liars," the third victim said in a statement, calling Clash "an incredible man."

The accuser's lawyer, Herman, also claimed that Clash confronted the accuser one week before the first lawsuit was filed, asking him, "Did I ever hurt you?"

The lawsuit is the third such accusation against Clash. The Elmo puppeteer announced his resignation earlier in November from beloved children's program, "Sesame Street." The television show said the controversy had become a "distraction" from Clash's job as the falsetto voice of Elmo, a position he had held for 28 years.

The third lawsuit comes a week after another man, also now an adult, filed a lawsuit claiming Clash persuaded him to meet for sexual encounters when he was 15-years-old. Before that, a 23-year-old man had accused Clash of having a sexual relationship with him when he was 16 years old, but he later recanted the accusations and said the affair was "an adult consensual relationship."
